The Solution

We have partnered with many of Australia’s top universities to provide them with LoRaWAN IoT network coverage. Conveniently, these networks are available for anybody on or off campus to use. As a result, we have helped university and industry partners foster exciting innovating communities.

Our mission

We are striving to increase interdisciplinary collaboration and engage universities with cutting-edge LoRaWAN eco-systems. This has enabled our partnered research partners and universities to deploying open systems and open source network infrastructure.

Our smart campuses use data and insights delivered through our LoRaWAN networks. We have enabled technologies to improve operational efficiency, academic excellence and quality student life.

LoRaWAN IoT Smart Campus & Research

Our smart campus success

A major Sydney-based University has partnered with us to roll-out an IoT network. This was established to provide infrastructure to support their smart campus solutions. Namely, smart solutions such as parking, lighting, waste and environment were a focus.

Furthermore, the involvement of their engineering and IT departments has also strengthened their research. They engineered a security solution using LoRaWAN and connected associated devices as the test case for the project. As a result, a thriving interdisciplinary collaboration was created.

Open source collaboration

Moreover, our partnered universities have seen the value in deploying open systems and open-source network infrastructure. This has allowed the invention and harnessing of sensors for the purpose of environmental monitoring. For example, this technology has been deployed in large centres such as Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. This has been used to influence policy and land use planning for some of the world’s fastest growing cities.
